Day 263

No pic today but how about an Ava story...

Awhile back Lori and I took the kids to the Riverfront for a picnic and to play. We ended up eating on the stage. The kids ate and played - fun day. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, my parents took the girls to the Riverfront and they played on the same stage. Ava asked my mom what a particular sign said. Apparently, it said "no eating on stage". Well, let's just say Ava is not happy with me. Every time we go past this stage I now have to apologize to it - and then Ava gives me a long lecture explaining that we can eat on the grass but NOT on the stage. So, once again last night we past the stage on the way to dance. She said, without a moments hesitation "mom, apologize to the stage". And once again listed ALL of the places we could picnic but NOT on the stage. I asked her if I should inform Lori of this and her response "yes, but don't call her right now. She's probably pretty busy and the boys are probably watching a movie". Yes, I'm sure Ms. Lori IS busy since she brought baby Elizabeth home from the hospital. This girl doesn't miss a thing.
