Day 64

Memory of the day:

Today was a great day! I worked out and did stuff around the house early before everyone else was awake. Then Jan and Macie came over to play. Both girls napped - at the same time! Ava and I worked on her math skills with a new game (pictured above). The day ended early for Walker - she was asleep by 7:00. This enabled Bart and I to both do bedtime book and devotional with Ava (a rare occurrence lately). The daily devotional (which we read nightly from a book Aunt TT got us) was about turning to God with our problems. After reading the passage I explained to Ava what a problem was and gave her a couple of examples. She then started giving us her own examples. One included being stuck in a cage and not being able to get out. I sort of laughed and asked why she would be stuck in a cage. Her response was "mom, don't laugh! Being stuck in a cage IS a problem!" Yes, you are right that is a problem. She then said a prayer. "God, please help me go potty and I love you." A little later she came downstairs and said "It's remarkable! God answered me. It's remarkable." Where does she get this stuff?
