Today was our last day of vacation and we spent it preparing for tomorrow's new schedule. There will be no more sleeping in and staying in our jammies half the day. Tomorrow, not only does Bart go back to work after a week off and Ava back to school but I, too, am going back to work. I will be spending the next 6-8 weeks covering at my old job. Our routine is going to be rocked to the max, which should be interesting. But I'm hoping we will all adjust quickly to this short change of pace.

I am so proud of how independent Ava is becoming. I love seeing how proud she is after dressing, brushing teeth, washing hands, etc. These may seem like small steps but it's huge in the mind of a 3 year old (and a busy mommy).
