What a Week

It's been a LONG week!

Monday I went to the doctor for an ultrasound and check up.  Everything looked great - baby is growing right on schedule.

Tuesday I ended up in the hospital with migraine symptoms.  I had all the severe symptoms of a migraine (blurred vision, tingling in hand and face, and just felt like I was in a fog) but no headache.   The symptoms lasted a couple of hours.  I called my doctor - who was not in - and his partner told me to head to the hospital.  Baby's heartrate was fine and so was my blood pressure.  They sent me home assuming it was a migraine.  The headache hit later that night and the next day.

Wednesday I was worn out from the migraine but managed to get a few things done.  Ava must know when I need to rest and makes it a point to act out and not nap.  In fact, she has not napped most of the week.  I'm not sure what happened to my sweet shy little girl but since turning three she has become very outspoken and disobedient.  I hope this is just phase or a result of lack of sleep.  If not, her teachers may not be ready for her this year!

Thursday was a good day.  I felt a lot better and went shopping with my mom for nursery stuff.  It's finally coming together and I've got a plan.  Can't wait till it's done!

By Friday, I was tired and crabby and Ava still wasn't napping!  We both needed naps but neither of us had one!  And this morning she was up at 5:00!  Right now, she's in her bed and I'm praying she falls asleep.  It will do both of us good!  Oh and did I mention Bart is working all day today.

So, yes, long week.  Not the greatest, but I guess we were due for an out of whack week!  We'll try again next week and hopefully I'll have more to blog about.
