The BIG City

Ever since Ava learned the song New York, New York she has wanted to "wake up in the big city".  Well, we convinced her that Chicago was a big city too and this past weekend we woke up in the city!

We had a great extended weekend visiting Aunt TT and Richard.  Friday we went to the Children's Museum at Navy Pier. Saturday we went to the Chicago Antique Market (my personal favorite - so much cool stuff!).  Saturday night we had a picnic and watched fireworks.  By Sunday, Ava was done!  Lack of sleep had caught up to her and she was in full out whine mode!  Aunt TT made breakfast for us and then we headed home (with a quick stop at the outlets on the way!).
