20 Weeks

Being that I am 20 weeks (halfway) along in this pregnancy, I thought a blog post was appropriate.
The pics above - that I didn't scan straight - show the little person yawning (top) and a profile (bottom).
Last week, I had the BIG 20 week ultrasound with a maternal fetal specialist.  Everything looks great!  Right on schedule with growth so we're hoping that continues.  I'll have another ultrasound in 4 weeks to check growth once again.
The first half of this pregnancy seems to have been pretty similar to when I was pregnant with Ava.  No morning sickness during the first trimester, just REALLY tired!  That finally got better around 12-13 weeks.  Back pain and heartburn seem to have started earlier (although I don't have a great reference point since I didn't write anything down before).
We are not finding out the sex this time around.  I'm already excited for the surprise at the end.  Bart is convinced it's a boy so we'll see!
I'm finally starting to think about the nursery and how to decorate it.  I'm kind of excited about gender neutral - or maybe I'm just excited about not doing pink.  We have quite a bit of pink in our lives right now - ha!  I'll post some pics as the nursery progresses.  I'm going with a vintage theme.
Due date is Nov 18th and it will be here before we know it.  Hard to believe we will be a family of 4 by Christmas!
