The End of Year Parade at Ava's school was so cute! Each class had special shirts. Ava's class used their finger prints to make ants for each student. Then they also had antennae hats to wear. Ava's favorite part was the tamborine she got to carry! They marched around the block while all the parents and families cheered them on. Ava had been so excited for the parade and it didn't disappoint! She had a blast! After the parade all of the families had picnic lunches around the school grounds. It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun!
I also want to make note of one of Ava's special friends at school. She talks about Nolan all. the. time. His mom has told me he talks about her too. He calls her "Princess Ava". Often, I think the two of them are getting into trouble together. On parade day, their teacher told me that Nolan looked at Ava and said "you are my best buddy". Too cute! Unfortunately, he is going to a different school next year :(
