Saturday afternoon, everyone (except me) went to the Cardinal game. No pictures were taken (even though I sent the camera with Bart) but I think they had a good time. The kids pooped out around the 5th inning so they headed back to St. Charles and we decided to go watch fireworks on the riverfront.
We timed it just about right and found a spot about 10 min before the fireworks started.
The first 2 fireworks went off and Ava looked at me and said "all done - get in wagon". Poor thing!
Luckily, she was able to make it all the way through by sitting on papaw's lap and letting him cover her ears.
She looks a little unsure about things here...
We pulled Ashton and Ava in the wagon (and by we I mean Bart and his dad). Bart got the uphill duties. On the way back to the car after fireworks (around 10ish), Ashton had Ava laughing and giggling so hard. It was so funny! Not sure what he was doing but she sure did love it! So glad they had a good time together!
Sunday was the annual pool party at June and Joe's. Again this year, the weather wasn't great and we even had a bit of downpour with some wind. But it is always good to hang out with the fam (and eat some yummy food!)

How cool is his little pop-a-tot (not sure if that is what it is called). He just stood in there and played! Love it!
