Kiss BooBoo

(notice her right hand in each pic)
Funny Ava Story...
Tonight Bart and Ava took Shelby for a walk while I was cooking dinner. When they came in Bart sent Ava over to show me her boo-boo. She said "boo-boo" while holding up her hand. Basically, she had a small abrasion on the palm of her hand (and some scratches on her knees). I kissed it and took her in to wash her hands for dinner. No crying, she seemed fine.
No big deal right?
Wrong, very wrong. The girl was so distraught about her hand she couldn't even eat dinner. She kept saying "kiss boo-boo" and then I had to kiss her hand. Bart and I kept assuring her that she was alright. So then she would say "Ava boo-boo, I alright". Unfortunately, she didn't really believe it.
After sitting in her highchair for a good 45 min and almost no food eaten she finally decided she was done. I took her out of her seat and she snuggled up in my arms. If her hand happened to touch anything, like my clothes, she would hold it up to my mouth so I would kiss it.
I decided to distract her by taking an early bath. Oops, that was a bad idea. Apparently, the water on her hand hurt so she wouldn't put her hand in the water. And, as you can see in the pics above she pretty much wouldn't let her hand touch anything. Usually, she brushes her teeth with her right hand. Not tonight!
Poor girl!
I sure hope it feels better tomorrow, otherwise grandma is going to have a LONG day!!!
