Ava is 21 months

I don't have a picture for this post but I hope the videos above will suffice.

What has Ava been up to this month???

Ava is talking more and more. Lots of words and even sentences. For example, she loves to ask 'what color that'? And if I don't answer quick enough she usually answers herself. Or sometimes I reply 'you tell me what color that is'. She knows the colors - green, blue, yellow, red, pink, brown, white, orange, purple, and violet.

She is wearing size 18 months - finally. Still can fit into some 12 month stuff but a recent growth spurt has made some of the 12 month pants too short.

Eating is becoming more difficult. She is very anti veggies so mommy has to get more creative. She LOVES fruit and will eat just about any fruit. Blueberries is a favorite.

She loves to sing and play the tambourine. She is getting pretty good at singing BaaBaa black sheep while playing the tambourine at the same time. Daddy has taught her well. She let me try playing the tambourine once but quickly took it away. She already knows mommy has no musical talent.

She can pick out certain letters of the alphabet. Some of her favorites are C, Q, W, Z. She tries to sing the alphabet but it usually isn't very understandable.

She is just so much fun right now. She can tell a story with her eyes and knows just how to make mommy and daddy laugh - especially when she's doing something she's not supposed to. She is almost always happy and smiling and laughing out loud. Which is a bit of change - she used to always be so serious and taking the world in nonstop. Now she is trying to express all of those thoughts she kept in for so long. I LOVE it!

We recently took a weekend trip to Florida. It was a great visit with Steve, Norma, and Michelle (Bart's uncle, aunt, and cousin). Ava was such a trooper. No nap all weekend and she was such a good girl.

I will work on getting more pics posted. With this cold weather it's hard to get outside and our pics inside don't usually turn out that great.
