Stats

Here are the stats from Ava's 15 month doc appt:

Weight - 20 lbs 8 oz (Kenny if you are reading - your scale was close - it said 21lbs)

Height - 29 3/4 in. (I'll have to check for sure but I think she grew an inch since May)

EDIT - She grew an inch and a half.

25th percentile across the board.

She barely makes the cut for turning her car seat forward. We'll probably turn it around in the next couple of weeks when Bart and Ava venture to AL.

Other things Ava is up to these days:

- Learning new signs all the time (currently she knows the signs for - more, drink, finished/all done, please, thank you, down, night night, yes)

-Still using paci at nap and bed time. I tried one night without and it didn't go well. We decided to let her keep it for awhile since she only uses it when in bed. Every morning when she gets out of bed she throws her paci back in the crib because she knows she can't have it.

- She now has 5 teeth (almost). 3 are completely in and 2 are halfway through. I imagine we'll see alot more popping through in the next few months.

- Still eating very good. Eats broccoli, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes with no problem. And of course loves all fruits. She now loves her milk! Still doesn't drink juice just milk and water.

hmmmmm, I think that is all for now.

- One more thing, Ava is going down stairs now too. She doesn't always do a great job of turning around but for the most part she knows to stop and sit. The problem is she usually sits about 3 feet away from the step. But once she is turned around she can go down with no problem.
