What a Weekend!!!!

Hello...I know it's been a long time since my last post...but boy, is it hard to find time to blog these days!

This weekend was packed full! I was off on Friday so Ava and I went to the zoo with Lori, William, and Benjamin. The kids did great even with the hot, humid temps!! They lasted about an hour and a half, which gave us plenty of time to see the hippo, bears, monkeys, giraffes, and we even pet the goats!!! Unfortunately, with 3 kids and only 2 adults there weren't alot of extra hands to take pics, but I managed to get one of the them with the hippo! (not sure what Ava was looking at but it was cooler than mommy taking the picture!)

On Saturday, daddy worked outside ALL day (yes, from 7am to 2pm!). He was burnt to a crisp but our yard looks great! Ava and I tried to keep entertained with a bucket (well a cooler, it was all I could find) of water and some toys. She loved it!

She has a small pool but every pump I found in our house didn't work so we settled for the cooler.



On Sunday, (Father's Day) Ava and Daddy spent lots of time together while mommy cleaned the house!! After sweating all day, we figured out that the air conditioning wasn't working - NICE! Luckily, someone came out quickly to fix it but that was an expensive 20 minutes!

We ended the night with dinner at Grappa with grandma and grandpa and uncle Trey!!!
