Chi-Town

Over the weekend, my mom, Ava and I packed up (seriously, I had everything but the kitchen sink) and headed to Chicago to see Aunt Tina. June was suppose to join the fun but she hurt her back...BUMMER! Hope you feel better! We missed you!

Ava was such a trooper! She did great on both car rides and while we were there. She even managed to get a nap in on my chest in the Baby Bjorn (good think I packed that thing - see I had EVERYTHING!)

She was pretty tired Saturday morning at the zoo (see below). So she wasn't too excited about the animals, especially the cow that stared her down and then moo-ed at her. Mean cow brought tears to her eyes.

Aunt Tina was trying to cheer her up. Good thing lunch put her in a better mood!

We had a great time even with the off and on rain. Plus we had Chicago deep dish pizza for the very first time...it was yummy (even for an Imo's lover).

Also this weekend, Ava decided to wean herself off of her bottle. She has only taken one bottle in the last 3 days. I've offered several times and she just won't take it. I still haven't decided if this is a good thing or not...the last two days she has also been very crabby. I'll have to get back to you on that.
