This is a little project I've been working on. Over a year ago, we brought this chair home from Alabama. It was Bart's grandparents. His family let us go through their house and take what we wanted (since they both were in a nursing home). I chose a chair and had a vision for it. Bart on the other hand didn't understand why we were carting this big, old chair ALL THE WAY to St. Louis. Well, I have finally finished it. What do you think?

I painted the base and then had it upholstered. The fabric only cost me $9. I love it!

I love the chair! I have a "before" picture and will get a copy made for you. I found pictures in Dad's safety deposit box of all contents of the house-(for insurance) He always was so prepared!
The chair looks wonderful and so modern! Mom and Dad would be glad for you to make it your own!
