Wednesday's Walk Down Memory Lane

This is a recent memory but I want to get it down on paper (or computer). Actually, it seems that this blog has become Ava's baby book of sorts. I have not been very good about recording things in her baby book it is just easier to post them here.

This week has been a busy week...busy in terms of Ava is busy learning and trying new things.

She will stand next to either Bart or myself while we lay on the floor, balance on our stomach, and then let go and see how long she can keep her balance. She thinks it is so much fun! Two nights ago she must have done this 100 times.

Now that she is pulling up to things she has figured out how to pull herself up in bed too. Monday night was the first time. Bart sat her in bed before bathtime and she immediately pulled herself up and began jumping up and down. Needless to say we had to lower the crib (again!).

Yesterday she did not eat much all day. And when I got home her cheeks were bright red and warm (sign of teething). So I put my finger in her mouth and sure enough a tooth is coming through. This explains the waking up during the night, not eating well, red cheeks, and fussiness. Mom is getting less sleep now than I did when she was 2 months old. Sad part is this is only one of many many teeth to come!
