Ava's one month doctor's appt was yesterday and she's a whopping 7lbs and 7oz. Pediatrician says she's catching up to all the growth charts. Way to go! She's smiling all the time and sleeping great!
I also went to the doctor this week and found out a few things that impacted little Ava's entrance to the world. First, I had an acute infection in my placenta (meaning I probably got it in the last week or so of pregnancy). Luckily, Ava did not get infected by this. Also, I had a blood clot in my placenta which explains why little one was so tiny. Unfortunately, she wasn't getting as much to eat as she should of!
